Chris Corsini is a dedicated and effective attorney with deep roots in Central Jersey. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Corsini served as Deputy County Counsel for Somerset County from 2010 until 2013. In that capacity, he handled a wide variety of transaction and litigation matters on behalf of the taxpayers of Somerset County. In addition to his service to Somerset County, Mr. Corsini has represented private clients on a diverse array of matters. Mr. Corsini clerked for the Hon. Yolanda Ciccone, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court in Somerset County. He also served on the leadership staff of Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce, assisting the assemblyman in both legislative and constituent matters. Mr. Corsini has experience in government at the federal, state and local levels.
Mr. Corsini is an integral member of Savo Schalk’s municipal and government law practice group, representing municipalities and counties in a variety of transactional and litigation disputes. He has represented government entities throughout Central New Jersey in such diverse areas as land use, procurement, Title 58 liability actions, tax appeals, open space acquisitions, shared services, matters involving the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) and Open Public Records Act (OPRA), local government ethics, and many other areas of local government practice.
In addition to his municipal and government law practice, Mr. Corsini also maintains an election law, campaign finance and government affairs practice, representing candidates, individuals, businesses, and political action groups in a wide variety of political and government matters.
Mr. Corsini also heads Savo Schalk’s worker’s compensation practice. Formerly the worker’s compensation attorney for the Somerset County Joint Insurance Fund (SCJIF), Mr. Corsini now maintains a petitioner’s practice, representing injured workers throughout Central New Jersey. He has represented virtually every type of worker and every type of injury during his time as a member of the worker’s compensation bar and has achieved results for his clients for injuries large and small.
Mr. Corsini is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and Seton Hall University School of Law. He has served a variety of civic organizations, including the Somerset County Library Commission (which he has chaired since 2017), the Bridgewater Township Open Space Advisory Committee, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties) and as an attorney-coach of the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Mock Trial team. Since 2014, he has been a member of the District XIII Fee Arbitration Committee, a subsection of the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics that fosters fair, efficient, economical and expeditious means of resolving fee disputes between clients and attorneys with the goal of fostering public confidence in the legal profession. He is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Somerset, Somerset County’s community leadership program.

Represented New Jersey municipality in Section 1983 Civil Rights complaint in the U.S. District Court and the Third Circuit.
Represented a police officer who was injured on the job while walking between two duty stations. The insurance company denied the claim but the matter was successfully argued and deemed compensable by the court at trial.
Represented school bus driver in occupational matter where repetitive motion caused lumbar injuries, and a favorable settlement was procured on behalf of petitioner.
Represented a mechanic who had received catastrophic on-the-job injuries when a mobile fuel storage tank he was operating malfunctioned. Negotiated settlement in matter for maximum award under the worker’s compensation statute.
Represented pharmacist who was injured when a box of medication fell on her. Despite a substantial delay in treatment, a favorable settlement was procured on behalf of petitioner.
